About Me
I’m Larissa Rancier, PsyD, a licensed clinical psychologist and a Latinx queer woman of color. My personal and professional experiences deeply inform my work, giving me a lived understanding of the complexities that come with navigating identity, culture, ambition, and belonging in systems that weren’t built with us in mind.
My clinical training spans work with diverse communities across hospital, community, and private practice settings. I draw from evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), alongside mindfulness-based and somatic-informed practices. This integrative approach allows therapy for supporting emotional regulation, insight, and lasting change while honoring the mind–body connection and each client’s unique lived experience.
When I’m not working, I’m usually spending time with friends, enjoying good food, or finding my way to the beach whenever I can. I love yoga, hanging out with my dog, and slowing down enough to enjoy the little moments because balance, joy, and rest matter just as much as the deeper work.

My Philosophy
I believe therapy works best when it is rooted in authenticity, humanity, and genuine connection. You don’t need to perform, explain yourself perfectly, or have everything figured out to begin. Therapy is a space where your full experience is welcome without judgment.
My approach is grounded in empathy and compassion, while also honoring your strength, insight, and autonomy. I view therapy as a collaborative process: we work together to make sense of patterns, explore what’s getting in the way, and build tools that feel realistic and aligned with your values.
Above all, I believe healing happens in relationship. By creating a safe, affirming space built on trust and mutual respect, therapy can become a place to reconnect with yourself, cultivate self-acceptance, and move toward a life that feels more authentic, balanced, and meaningful
